How to Build a Desk Setup That Actually Looks Good
Three changes that move a desk from functional to intentional. None of them require spending a lot.
Start with cables
The fastest win in any setup is hiding the cables. A cable management kit takes twenty minutes and changes the entire visual weight of your desk. Do this first.
Add one light source
Overhead lighting is flat. A desk bar light adds depth and makes everything on the surface look more intentional. Warm mode for evenings, cool for focused work.
Keep the surface clear
A phone wallet eliminates one surface item entirely. Fewer things on the desk means the things you do have look considered.
That's it. Three changes. None of them expensive.
